Yes, the Israeli Military laws enable the occupation forces to:
- arrest someone because the soldier feels it is right to do so.
- arrest can apply to anyone (including a 3 years old child, for example)
- detain without judgment as long as necessary
- deny any intervention of a lawyer
- reject any intervention of any non-military Court
- release and arrest again
It has become a way to ‘’destroy’’ people, mentally. And deter the others.
In the end, the final Government objective remains the same : extend the State… The problem is that it created feelings of injustice & humiliation among ‘’Arabs’’, which strengthen an already pre-existent Anti-Israel feeling, which soon becomes AntiSemitism. >> which drives to violences.
Violences makes Israeli people to feel they need to defend themselves. Which feeds the loop of feelings etc etc… >> no way out
Nowadays, it is unthinkable to find this kind of military rules within any Western democracy, on such a long period.
