Maybe America’s Values (individual « freedom » >> individualism) backed by strong Beliefs, AND powerful Media spreading Ideas consistent with the interests of Economic Groups (that differ from the interests of the People) have to be addressed.
But Democracy itself cannot do that.
The President of the US cannot do that either.
