“the image comes without a word”

The way the brain works is quite strange. What you said “the image comes without a word” is my nightmare.

When I talk and use a word which refers to something which can be seen, I usually look mentally for the image of it. Instantly, I see the word written. I read it in my mind and place it within the sentence. A constant balancing act.

As I get old now, sometimes, the word does not ‘’print’’…
