If they followed what is reasonable, our societies would be quite different.

The substance of natural law is a matter of opinion. It well depends on the Principles which we consider right.And principles are backed by our set of Values, which themselves are shaped by our Beliefs.

All societies are Right-Based. But their Beliefs can be quite different.
