“I declare today for the world to hear that the West will never, ever be broken. Our values will prevail. Our people will thrive. And our civilization will triumph.”

To me, those are words of a loser.

Because I clearly understand that he is on the defensive. i.e. he goes to the trouble of responding to people who consider that the West will be broken, that our values will not prevail, that Western people will not thrive, and that Western Civilization will not survive.
