In France, this blow has been significantly amplified by external causes.
People are fed-up with the « traditionnal politics » where parliamentaries enjoy very generous benefits, while people have the feeling that the real power is in the hands of many active lobbies. When we look at the parliamentary average age evolution (high age & always increasing over the last 30 year). The « En Marche » was an opportunity to get rid of many « lords in politics ».
There is a big hope attached to the « En Marche » movement.
It must succeed in France and in Europe.
Otherwise, the extremes will be back : on the right, AND on the left !
